Rage Guest Programming
We can now retire as we've reached the pinnacle...a guest programming spot on Rage! Throw a house party or leave the disco clubs early 'cause we are going to be on the red lounge from 11:10pm (ABC) this coming Saturday night (Nov 10). The Sydney Morning Herald has even placed a thumbs up next to it on their TV guide so you know it's going to be hot. Oh what will they play....????
OS Releases + NZ dates
'In the Midst of This' is currently out in South Africa via Sheer Music and if you have any friends who live over there tell them to spread the word please as we'd love to tour that part of the world one day! It's also being release in New Zealand this month via Universal and with that comes our first live dates that include Auckland (Nov 22), Wellington (Nov 23) and Christchurch (Nov 24). Special Sydney Xmas Show Dec 14th
More details on this to be announced very soon. It will be small and we want everyone to come and celebrate Xmas with us Expat style.

We lost out to Sneaky Sound System but hey...we did get to sit at a table with David Koche who is that guy from Sunrise on Channel 7, is father of the year and is a financial guru. Also, Ben did greatly enjoy wearing a red suit.
'Missing' Video Shoot
On Monday we shot a video for our cover of Everything But The Girl's song 'Missing'. Again, this is taken from the wonderful compilation record called 'No Man's Woman' which is out now via Dew Process. Expect to see this on the television very soon...it was shot at The Vanguard in Sydney and is nothing like anything we've done before. You'll see what we mean ;)
11.10.07 | Dunsborough show moved to Bunbury
Unfortunately the Dunsborough Tavern has had to close its doors to live music due to farking noise restrictions. Therefore, if you haven't seen the street press ads around WA yet the showfor this Sat 13th Oct has been moved to The Prince of Wales Hotel in Bunbury. Tickets can only be bought on the door. Apologies for any inconvenice.
11.10.07 | 'Missing' is brand new Expatriate
We are excited to say there is already a brand new and unheard Expatriate track hitting the airwaves very soon. It's a cover of the song 'Missing' as written by Everything But the Girl and can be found on a record called No Mans Woman. It currently is on our Myspace player. The record itselft includes bands such as us, The Vines, End of Fashion, Powderfinger, Josh Pyke and Paul Kelly covering songs as sung by female singers. STRANGE CREATURES TOUR BEGINS
A quick reminder that our co-headline tour with The Cops starts tonight in Brisbane at The Tivoli Theatre down in the Valley. Tix are still available for this show and can be purchased on the door. 24.08.07 | ’Strange Creatures Tour’ with The Cops! Sept/Oct
We have just announced a co-headline affair with The Cops called The Strange Creatures Tour. The tour starts at The Tivoli in Brisbane on September 28th and will go to venues in QLD, NSW, VIC, WA and SA. Each night will be a rotating headline so you'll have to be there from the start to make sure you see us both! This will be bigger and brighter than anything we've done separately before and the nights will be full of song and dance so buy a ticket and don't miss out on this all you creatures of the night.

A big thank you to those in WA who came to see us over the past weekend. We had a fun time in the cities of Dunsborough, Perth and Fremantle. A big thank you to the folk of Wollongong, Newcastle and Sydney for turning up to our shows this past weekend. We were blown away by the response, especially Sydney at the packed to the rafters Gaelic Theatre!

Unfortunately, due to the closure of our intended venue for our Gold Coast show we are left with no choice but to cancel it. We're sorry about this but tickets are still available for The Zoo in Brisbane if you are able to make the drive.

We are playing on the new Paul McDermott hosted ABC show, Sideshow! This Saturday, June 23 at 7:30pm on the ABC. The Spaces Between is the chosen one so don't go out or push back you're plans if you have any so you can stay in to watch.

The rumours are true. We're supporting the massive Powderfinger as they launch their new record around the country. We've played a rodeo but never a hotel ballroom and many a ballroom will be encountered on this tour. The dates and details are in our shows page but word is the shows have already sold out.

We'd like to thank everyone who has so far gone out and actually 'bought' our record. Thanks to you it debute at #38 in the ARIA charts which we definitely were not expecting.

Bit By Bats will be coming along for the ride on our 'In the Midst of This' album tour. It's going to be awesome touring with these guys! We've been massive fans of their music since well,... since I can remember.The dates are up and tickets are selling well so get in there before you miss out if you don't like missing out on these sorts of things because you really want to go due to the fact your ex lover is going and you want to see who they're taking along so you can become even more bitter and twisted only to return home and put our record on and feel better.

As you know we're playing at Splendour in the Grass which runs from August 4-5 in Byron Bay. We'll be playing on the Sunday on the same day as Bloc Party, Arctic Monkeys, Klaxons, Josh Pyke, The Dirty Three and many many more.
